Targeted Adolescent Service (Northumberland's Brighter Side) Digital Arts Project
Young people develop digital project

Young people from the Targeted Adolescence Service (TAS) group developed their ideas to initiate this project and produce a new film.

The group have driven the project from the start, with support from staff at the TAS group. They commissioned artist Hal Branson to work with them to produce the film which reflects their personal experiences of being young to challenge stereotypical perceptions from others.

The young people have learnt valuable new skills to produce a high quality piece of work, build their confidence and work with new people.

The group, who have named themselves, 'Northumberland's Brighter Side' also enjoyed the chance to visit the BBC Look North and BBC Radio Newcastle studios with Hal, to find out more about professional broadcasting and had the chance to have a go at reading the weather!

A celebration event to premiere the film will be held at the end of the project.
