Working with artist Tommy Anderson, people from Northumberland Recovery Partnership (NRP) have taken part in arts sessions to create high quality artwork.
Tommy guided the group through a number of different type of artforms including, photomontage, pop art illustration, macro photography, typography, collage and animation. The group also visited BALTIC Centre of Contemporary Art together with Tommy to explore the exhibitions.
A celebration event, exhibiting the work which the group had made was held at the end of the programme.
These sessions hope to inspire people from the group to take part in future creative activities to support their recovery.
We will work with NRP to look at future ways to work together to embed the arts into the menu of choice for NRP service users.
