November Club - Portraits of Northumberland
November Club build story map of South East Northumberland

Portraits of Northumberland is an interactive project supporting families in and around Choppington to create their own story map of South East Northumberland.

Characters, Mr Doom and Mrs Bloom will tour the area with their magical pop-up photographic studio, inviting people to reflect on the past and share their hopes for the future.

Working in partnership with Guide Post Working Men's Club, there will be a number of events at the Centre which are open to anyone to take part in for free.

Wednesday 9 July, 3.30pm - 5.30pm - Mr Doom and Mrs Bloom arrive at Choppington Welfare Centre and invite families to watch their live show, featuring story-telling, music and songs.

Mrs Bloom will return on Wednesday 30 July, 3.30pm - 5.30pm to Guide Post Working Men's Club with her map-makers, inviting people to join them to make their mark.

The maps will be completed in a session in Guide Post on Wednesday 6 August, 3.30pm - 5.30pm and everyone who takes part will get something to take home to keep!

The final session on Sunday 24 August, from 12noon to 4pm will be another chance to drop into Guide Post club to share your stories and explore the map.
