bait Artist Commissions

Museums Northumberland bait is excited to invite expressions of interest from artists, arts collectives and creative companies to two creative commissions that explore the creative themes of 'heritage and community' and 'care of the environment through art, creativity and cultural activity'.

We are seeking artistically ambitious, collaborative approaches that engage people in South East Northumberland at every stage of the project delivery, including decision makers, participants and audiences.

We are interested in dynamic, online and in person approaches to bringing people together in creative activity and value the links between the themes of the creative briefs and our wellbeing. We welcome applications that reflect the diversity of our decision making group, communities and wider society.

Please find below links to download the two creative commissions, plus some background and additional information that will help you in your application.

Application deadline is 9am on Monday 16 November 2020. If you have any questions about the brief, please get in contact with our Creative Producers.
